How to Disconnect a Service

Disconnect a service will immediately halt all billing against that service's resources and will initiate the permanent removal of the service's resources.

1.      Login to Cloud Portal (Enterprise Manager)

·       https://www.synaptic.att.com/clouduser/

2.      Under My Account, select Accounts & Users from the left-hand menu. There you will find the Accounts, Subaccounts, Users, Roles & Permissions, My Profile tabs.

3.      Select Accounts tab to display the current user's Role and the Username of the Account's Enterprise Manager.

Note: Only the Enterprise Manager or Admin can Disconnect a Service.

4.      Select the Subaccounts tab to display all subaccounts under this Account.

5.      Select a subaccount to display the details and manage the Services under this subaccount. Each Service can be disconnected individually.

Note: Make suer to REMOVE all resources BEFORE disconnected a Service.

·       The resources for CaaS would be any: Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Data Centers (vDCs), Virtual Apps (vApps), Catalogs, Templates, Media Images and/or Shared Storage Volumes.

·       For PaaS, this would be Tenants.

·       For StaaS, these would be Subtenants, User IDs and Files.

How to Disconnect a Portal Subaccount

Disconnected a subaccount will immediately halt all billing against the subaccount service instance's resources and will initiate the permanent removal of the services' resources.

1.      Login to Cloud Portal (Enterprise Manager)

·       https://www.synaptic.att.com/clouduser/

2.      Under My Account, select Accounts & Users from the left-hand menu. There you will find the Accounts, Subaccounts, Users, Roles & Permissions, My Profile tabs.

3.      Select Accounts tab to display the current user's Role and the Username of the Account's Enterprise Manager.

Note: Only the Enterprise Manager or Admin can Disconnect a Service.

4.      Select the Subaccounts tab to display all subaccounts under this Account.

5.      The whole Subaccount can be deleted and it will remove all Services under this subaccount.

Note: Make sure to REMOVE all resources BEFORE deleted a subaccount.

 

How to Cancel a Portal Account

Cancelling a company's entire Portal Account is not supported yet and it is not available internally to AT&T employees either. What customers can do in the meanwhile is disconnect all their Cloud services and/or delete all of the Cloud Subaccounts.
