The Charges - Trending report displays charge details for accounts in a specified billing range. It allows you to see how charges change over time. This includes service type and total charges.
To display the Charges Trending report:
1. On the main menu bar, click Reports. The Reports Home page displays.
2. Under Trending & Variance, select Charges - Trending. A page displays the report's default options.
3. If you want to change the default invoice, from the Invoice Month dropdown list, select the invoice month to trend to.
4. From the Number of Months dropdown list, select the number of months previous for trending.
Note: You can select to display up to 13 months but only the invoice months that have data will be displayed.
5. If you want to change other report default values, use the Value Selections, Sorting, Summarization, Columns, Output Format, Filters, and Highlighting tab headers.
6. If you want to restore report default values, click the Restore Defaults link. The report value selections page is redisplayed with the original default values.
7. Click View Report. The report is displayed.
8. If you want to sort the list according to data in a specific column, click the column name. The data in the list is sorted accordingly, and an arrow next to the column name displays the sort order (ascending or descending). If you want to reverse the sort order, click the column name again.
9. If you want to change the report values that you selected after the report is displayed:
a. Click Modify Report. The report page is redisplayed with the values and data selections you entered.
b. Repeat any of steps above as required.
c. Click View Report. The report is redisplayed in accordance with your new selections.
10. If you want to save the report to Saved Report Templates at any time, click Save Report.
11. If you want to view previously downloaded reports, click Report History.
