Updating Submitted Disputes

You can perform the following update activities on submitted disputes:

§       Set concur

§       Add attachments

§       Add notes

You perform these activities on the Edit Details page for the dispute. After you have completed updating the dispute, close the window by clicking the small X at the top right of the window.

Note: You can edit a dispute that is not Closed, Cancelled or Rejected, if:

Setting Concur for Submitted Disputes

If a dispute has a status of Acceptance to Close or Resolution Proposed, you must choose to either concur (agree) or not concur (not agree) with the proposal.

To set concur for submitted disputes:

1.      Display the View Dispute History page.

2.      In the Status column, click the icon next to the Acceptance to Close or Resolution Proposed statuses. The Edit Details page is displayed.

3.      In the Dispute History section, in the Status column, next to the Acceptance to Close or Resolution Proposed status, select either Concur or Non-Concur.

4.      Click Submit at the bottom of the page. The displayed status is updated according to your selection.

Adding Attachments to Submitted Disputes

You can add up to 2 attachments at a time when updating a submitted dispute, up to a maximum of 10 attachments per dispute. Each attachment can be a maximum of 2 MB. You cannot add attachments to closed disputes.

Attachments to closed disputes are available for 1 week after the dispute is closed. You can view an attachment by clicking its filename link. Unavailable attachments are displayed without a link.

To add an attachment to a submitted dispute:

1.      Display the View Dispute History page.

2.      In the Tracking Number column, click the link for the dispute to which to add attachments. The Edit Details page is displayed.

Note: A paperclip icon in the Tracking Number column indicates that attachments to the dispute exist.

3.      In the Attachments section, click Add Attachments. The Add Attachments section expands to enable attaching files.

4.      Click an available Browse button and then select the file to attach. The filename is displayed in the textbox.

Note: You can remove a listed file by clicking the Clear button.

5.      Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Note: Use the Go to Submit button link or the Go to most recent note link to jump to the bottom of the page. Only one of the two links will appear at any given time.

6.      Wait patiently while the file is uploaded and scanned for viruses. After the file is uploaded successfully, the file name appears as a link. You can click the link to view the attachment. After the attachment is no longer available, the file name appears without a link.

Adding Notes to Disputes

You can add notes to a submitted (but not closed) dispute or inquiry.

To add notes to a dispute:

1.      Display the View Dispute History page.

2.      In the Tracking Number column, click the link for the dispute to which to add a note. The Edit Details page is displayed.

3.      In the Add Notes to Dispute Description section, type the note or question in the text box (up to 2000 characters).

4.      Click Submit at the bottom of the page. The note is added to the Description/Notes column in the Dispute History section.
